Where is The Amalfi Coast

Positano, Amalfi and Ravello are the main centers and unmissable places to visit, but during the high season they are also very crowded and chaotic places, so you risk not fully enjoying their beauty.
If you want to stay in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, we therefore suggest you to stay overnight in Maiori, a more spacious inhabited center.
If, on the other hand, you have a few more days at your disposal, and would like to visit the areas surrounding the Amalfi Coast as well, we recommend you to stay in Salerno, a beautiful city on a human scale, cheaper and strategically with a perfect location.
Is Amalfi Coast expensive?
The Amalfi Coast can be expensive, as well as cheap.
It is expensive if you limit yourself to the more touristy areas, but for the smartest tourists it is possible to spend much less.
Just stay outside the main centers, stop to eat in less touristy restaurants, perhaps letting yourself be advised by locals, and do not use the car if possible because the available parking spaces are few and expensive.
How many days do you need in Amalfi Coast ?
In general, a weekend, 3 days and 2 nights are enough to visit the main attractions.
However, to visit the Amalfi Coast better, you need a few more days, as there are less renowned places that are worth knowing and many activities to do.

Is it better to stay in Sorrento or Positano?
The best way to experience Positano is stay in Positano.
But if you want to visit Positano in one day, the best solution is certainly to sleep in Sorrento, the distance is not so great even if you often have to deal with traffic.
