Our Best Trails in Amalfi Coast

Walking Around Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast on foot is an original itinerary and probably the definitive synthesis of what the Amalfi Coast can offer.

For most of the itinerary of our tour “The Amalfi Coast on Foot” we will walk through characteristic country lanes and ancient stairways that connect the various seaside villages of the Amalfi Coast.

This walking tour starts from Maiori, a seaside village lying directly on the sea passing through the 13th century Collegiate Church of Santa Maria a Mare. Then we will continue for a stretch along the Lemon Trail which, between fragrant lemon groves and beautiful views, will lead us to the smallest Minori .

Here we will have time to stop for a short walk in the center and then cross ancient alleys that will lead us to the heart of Ravello, an exceptional pearl of the Divine Coast. Here we will have time to sip a good coffee in the cathedral square, and then continue our journey to our next destination: Atrani.

Valle delle Ferriere Trails

Catapulted between the antiquity of the beautiful remains of the Basilica of Sant’Eustachio and the millennial paper mills, and the unspoiled nature of the Valle delle Ferriere in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, one of the most fascinating hiking itineraries in the world.

Following ancient stairs and paths and getting lost among the lemon groves of the Amalfi Coast, you reach the Valle dei Mulini, a forest dominated by springs and waterfalls, set in a frame between the high mountains.

In the deep valley you can admire, in addition to the ruins of an old aqueduct, various examples of industrial architecture of the 10th century, such as the ironworks, where in ancient times iron was produced and several ruins of paper mills, the last of the few links left with the history of the power and splendor of the Maritime Republic of Amalfi.

Sentiero del Principe • The Prince’s Path

THE PRINCE'S PATH

The Sentiero del Principe is our “workhorse”, the path with which we have identified ourselves to the public and with which we intend to give an excursion vision of the city of Salerno. Starting from the Duomo, from the cathedral of San Matteo, the itinerary rises gently towards the steps of Montevergine and the first views of the city from above, before entering the pine forest of the Arechi castle and finally arriving at the Castle. From the Castle, a short visit and then continue towards the holm oak forest which leads to the Bastille and subsequently to the asphalt road Salerno – Croce di Cava.

From Croce di Cava, a descent near the Villa Lupara farmhouse will immerse us in the chestnut woods that encompass the small path that reaches the foot of the San Liberatore mountain. From the top of the hill, a descent towards Salerno, overlooking breathtaking scenery towards the sea, will take the group to the “Cornice del Principe” and subsequently to Canalone where we will resume the road towards the Duomo.

Path of Gods “Sentiero degli Dei”

The Path of the Gods is undoubtedly the most famous and fascinating trekking itinerary of the Amalfi Coast and one of the most beautiful paths in the world.

Passes delimited by spectacular cliffs and incredible gorges, the path offers unique views of the entire Amalfi Coast, and especially of Positano, Capri and the island of Li Galli.

Path of Lemons “Sentiero dei Limoni”

The Sentiero dei Limoni is a trekking itinerary suitable for everyone, easy to approach, but with unquestionable charm, between the beautiful towns of Maiori, Minori and Ravello.

We start from the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria a Mare di Maiori, erected in the thirteenth century on a hill in the center of the town on the Amalfi Coast and which takes its name from the statue that according to tradition would have been found in 1204 on the beach.

All along the route we will be accompanied by the heady scent of lemon groves, breathtaking panoramic views and typical terraces of the Amalfi Coast.

Benedectine Abbey & Avvocata Path “Badia e Avvocata”

The Avvocata Path is a fascinating trekking itinerary of the Amalfi Coast between nature and ancient churches.

Our journey on the Path of the Shrine of the Advocate begins in the ancient village of Badia di Cava de’Tirreni.

Passing in front of the millenary Benedictine Abbey, founded in 1011, we enter the almost 90 km long Alta Via dei Lattari path, which crosses all the Lattari Mountains from Cava to Punta Campanella.

We will travel only the first part of the path until we reach the majestic Sanctuary of the Madonna dell’Avocata, in the upper part of Maiori.
